Spellflight

Done in 3DS MAX, this shot depicts Space Shuttle Enterprise delivering Node 1 to Vigilance Air Force Station. The scene is similar to how the real-world Endeavour brought the Unity node up on STS-88 and docked it to the Zarya module. Originally I didn't want space shuttles involved in Vigilance's construction, but then I reasoned that NAXA (my fictional version of NASA) would loan a couple of orbiters to the construction project. That, and I wanted Enterprise to make it to space in my universe. In reality, Enterprise was only used for to prove that the design would fly, and Challenger was modified for spaceflight instead.
